My Story

I was born in Thames, studied Media Arts in Hamilton, and now live by the sea in Hobsonville Point, Auckland. I can see the water from my doorstep, and it finds its way into a lot of what I make.

Travel in India and a sabbatical year living in China in 2015 changed the way I see colour and pattern. You'll spot it in the lace detail of my native birds and the bold backgrounds behind my Crowned flowers.

I work in ink pen and digitally, inspired by our beautiful country and its flora and fauna. The Crowned Collection started with my favourite vintage swan vase and a handful of flowers from the garden.

Every tea towel here is printed to order in New Zealand, made just for you. Thank you for bringing a little of my artwork into your home.
